About The Event

In todays world we are facing a global health crisis that has signficant impact on all of us.  Come together with us for an evening of virutal connection and community time to offer one another support.  We will spend 90 minutes connecting around the impact the Coronavirus is having on us indivudally, as well as our families and communities.  

Learn practial tools for managing your response to the panademic, as well as tools to support your children's questions and concerns.  We will meet virutal through Zoom.  Upon registration you will be sent a zoom link granting you access to the virtual meeting.  

A word about your hosts:

Allison E Bruce, M.Ed is a Professional Clinical Counselor and educator.  She provides counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups/organizations. Allison's clinical approach involves creating a dialogue within the therapeutic relationship which empowers clients to embrace their strengths, embody personal growth, and promote healing. Allison's therapeutic approach relies heavily on the application of Gestalt theory and practice to deepen each client's relationships with self and others. 

Allison's areas of clinical interest include: personal and professional growth, interpersonal relationships, women's issues, life transitions, trauma and PTSD. Allison offers EMDR therapy to address a variety of presenting concerns including unresolved trauma and PTSD.

Allison has a master's degree in community counseling and completed extensive advanced training at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland and the EMDR institute. Allison is presently a faculty member at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland.

Elizabeth Van Valkenburgh, MSSA specializes iin working with adults who are moving through transition; who need support and information to assist them in doing so in a successful, satisfying manner. Her clinical focus is on trauma, relationships/couples, the change process across the life span, and divorce.

Elizabeth's clinical and consulting focus is relationship and divorce coaching, healing trauma and developmental issues across the life span. Elizabeth is a trained mediator and collaborative divorce coach and an active member of the Cleveland Academy of Collaborative Professionals.  Additionally she is a  faculty member at CWRU Mandel School of Applied Social Science
