Community and Connection--A Group Experience For Teachers
Time & Location
About The Event
I know being a teacher and educator is a demanding job under the best of circumstances! COVID-19 has presented new challenges for each one of you in the teaching profession. I also know that it takes a very special person to be in the world of education--I commend each one of you for your ongoing service to the world of education!
This is a time for each of you to have some extra support, a place to process with your peers, as well as access to behavioral "tools" which will be needed to engage your students in your classrooms during this time of social distancing. Some of you may be in your physical classrooms and some of you may be facilitating remote learning. Either way the social/emotional needs of today’s students are a pressing concern for many teachers.
Join me in a group experience that will allow you a safe place to network with your peers, process your concerns and feelings related to being an educator in today's world, and consult with me on social/emotional tools for student engagement. This confidential group is open to teachers in all grade levels and various districts.
I am a licensed mental health counselor in private practice and an educator at Case Western Reserve University, as well as the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland. Additionally, I am women’s empowerment coach and I presently host an on line coaching community called Hardwire Your Happiness where I help women break through limitations (personally and professionally), in order to achieve unstoppable success. Most importantly I have a VERY a special appreciation for teachers, as I am lucky enough to be surrounded by amazing teachers in my personal and professional life. I am committed to supporting teachers as each of you navigate this brave new world of education!
