EMDR Explained 

  • EMDR is not just for healing trauma.  EMDR can be used to support clients with are coming to counseling with a variety of concerns or goals.  EMDR has been proven helpful in the following areas of growth:

    • Addressing changes in mood related to anxiety or depression, chronic pain, eating disorders, pervasive negative beliefs about oneself.  ​

    • Improving overall experience of vitality including improved sleep, self-esteem, confidence, success in relationships, intrusive thinking and changing the way one views themself and the world around them

    • Trauma resulting from early developmental experiences, disruptions to attachment, sexual violence, first responder roles, accidents or natural disasters.
